Colombia Tours and Trips takes you to enjoy a natural wonder that surprises for its architecture in the depths of the earth, where you will meet “The Heart of Colombia”, a crystal of salt in the shape of a heart, considered the largest in the world.
The tour starts from your hotel or place of lodging in Bogotá and you will be transferred to the municipality of Nemocón, located 45 km from Bogotá, where the Salt Mine is located 80 meters underground.
Upon entering to the second largest salt mine in Colombia with more than 500 years of history, you will learn about the process of salt production used since pre-Hispanic times and enjoy of the amazing 1,600 meters of tunnels and cameras, with spectacular attractions such as the salt waterfall with more than 80 years old, the well of desires, the brine mirrors and its awesome lighting effects.
At the end of the tour inside the Salt Mine of Nemocón and before returning to Bogotá, you will be transferred to the colonial city of Zipaquirá, located about 20 minutes from Nemocón to enjoy a delicious typical lunch of the region.

Steps to book
Booking and Cancellation Policies
1. To confirm your booking you must do the payment of at least 20% of the total cost of the service and send the payment voucher with the requested information by WhatsApp, email or Facebook.
2. Children up to 4 years old do not pay. Children from 5 to 9 years old will pay 75% of the adult cost.
3. Children of 10 years and older will pay as adults. We will take into account the age fulfilled on the day of the service.
4. To obtain a full refund for cancellation, you must cancel maximum 48 hours before the start of the service. After this time, will take the deposit amount (20% of the total value of the tour) as administrative procedures.
5. Postponements or changes will be received only up to 24 hours before the start of the tour and will be accepted according to availability.
6. If the passenger does not show up on the day of service, they will lose 100% of the booking deposit.
7. In case of weather issues or natural disasters the tour will be postponed for a next date, the itinerary will be changed or we will refund 100% of the deposit in order for the passenger to take no risks.
The guide will have to wait for the passenger at the agreed pick-up point for 30 minutes from the agreed time for the start of the tour, after this time he should contact the company and if it is not possible to contact the passenger, the tour will be cancel and the guide will withdraw from the place.
8. The company is not responsible for forgotten objects after the end of the tour.
9. In the event of an accident during the service, the guide or driver must be informed to make the insurance effective and guarantee medical attention. This can not be guaranteed if it is reported after the end of the service.
10. When making the booking, it is understood that you accept the booking and cancellation policies.
