Hotel, airbnb or chosen place within Bogota.
Our amazing tour starts from your hotel in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia and you will be transferred to the beautiful municipality of Sesquile, at approximately 75 km northeast of Bogotá, where Guatavita lagoon is located.
Upon arrival, you will know this place full of magic, which is symbol of El Dorado legend and in company of a native tour guide you will walk on the rise for approximately 90 minutes learning about its fantastic history and importance, to reach a lookout where you can contemplate not only the lagoon also the beautiful and exotic Colombian landscapes.
Then, and before returning Bogota you will enjoy a delicious typical lunch of the region.
Note: The lagoon does not open the first working day of the week (Mondays or Tuesday in case Monday is holiday).

Steps to book
Booking and Cancellation Policies
1. To confirm your booking you must do the payment of at least 20% of the total cost of the service and send the payment voucher with the requested information by WhatsApp, email or Facebook.
2. Children up to 4 years old do not pay. Children from 5 to 9 years old will pay 75% of the adult cost.
3. Children of 10 years and older will pay as adults. We will take into account the age fulfilled on the day of the service.
4. To obtain a full refund for cancellation, you must cancel maximum 48 hours before the start of the service. After this time, will take the deposit amount (20% of the total value of the tour) as administrative procedures.
5. Postponements or changes will be received only up to 24 hours before the start of the tour and will be accepted according to availability.
6. If the passenger does not show up on the day of service, they will lose 100% of the booking deposit.
7. In case of weather issues or natural disasters the tour will be postponed for a next date, the itinerary will be changed or we will refund 100% of the deposit in order for the passenger to take no risks.
The guide will have to wait for the passenger at the agreed pick-up point for 30 minutes from the agreed time for the start of the tour, after this time he should contact the company and if it is not possible to contact the passenger, the tour will be cancel and the guide will withdraw from the place.
8. The company is not responsible for forgotten objects after the end of the tour.
9. In the event of an accident during the service, the guide or driver must be informed to make the insurance effective and guarantee medical attention. This can not be guaranteed if it is reported after the end of the service.
